Domain Name Transfer Procedure

The transfer of domain name rights, the transfer of a domain name to another Registrar is effected only through an official letter from the current Registrant:

  • a domain name is registered to a legal entity: the transfer of domain name rights/of a domain name requires a letter on the organization's letterhead, with a corporate seal and an executive director's signature.
  • a domain name is registered to an individual: the transfer of domain name rights/of a domain name requires an application and copies of the first and second pages of the passport, to certify the signature of the Registrant.

To transfer domains in the .UA zone, FIRST THING is to transfer the trademark rights (or exclusive rights to use the trademark) to the receiving party. After that, the domain transfer procedure is similar to that described above.

* As the domain name Registrar, we have the right, at our discretion, to fulfil additional measures to check the authenticity of the application (as well as to ask the current Registrant to perform some additional actions to identify himself - to click on the link or to enter the password from the SMS, etc.), and the current Registrant is obliged to provide requested documents to the Registrar.
* Pay attention, there might be additional requirements in some domain zones for the domain transfer procedure. The recipient - an individual may be obliged to provide copies of the first and second pages of the passport and an application with consent, and the recipient - legal entity may be obliged to provide a letter of agreement with a corporate seal and an executive director's signature.
